In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers. |

I got hooked from the first episode. The plot is very original and touching( I won't lie- I cried a few times) and also philosophical, it really made me think. But it also contains a lot of humor and action making the story perfectly balanced- everyone will find a reason to watch. The graphic design and animation is a pleasure for the eyes. This anime also has gorgeous music, which is built in very well.
However, this anime also has it's drawbacks. I found the plot slightly too compressed- everything happens pretty fast, 13 episodes are just not enough for this type of story. Also, I found the ending rather disappointing- it certainly was under the standard of the previous episodes.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
