Summary: The anime will be an adolescent romantic comedy. When a group of friends decide to make a movie over a long summer holiday, they end up learning a little about filmmaking and a lot more about each other and themselves. What begins as a simple way to avoid the summer doldrums quickly turns into something much more complex, intimate and revealing, as the maturing relationships between the members of the young cast take on new, and sometimes very unexpected, turns.

Another gem by the makers of Onegai Teacher/Twins

Overall Rating
Excellent
Story: 4
Dialogue: 5
Animation: 5
Entertainment: 5
This was another wonderful love story by the studio that brought us Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins. The story starts similar to Onegai Teacher with an alien crashing to earth. As for the rest, it was an emotional ride which brought light to the question: can friendship survive through tangled love? The animation was up to par with Onegai Teacher/Twins and the entertainment value was exceptional. I watched the whole series straight through in one sitting (good thing it's my day off). The only complaint I have is the rushed ending. I'm hoping for an OVA to fill in the gaps. Onegai Teacher/Twins both had a 12 episode series with a single OVA at the end to help clear up details that were left unanswered due to the rushed endings in episode 12. I'm hoping they do the same thing for this series because the end really was clipped short. The clipped ending was the only reason I gave the story a 4 instead of a 5 rating.
