We entered a new season of Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu in hopes for a continuing plot line that was interested. However, what we received was 13 episodes of complete and utter crap in my personal opinion... well that might be stretching it. Alright, beyond the story itself, baka to test this time goes around just mini comic style trying to crack repeated jokes that you saw in the first season while trying to add a bit more content with each character. Which utterly fails to impress an audience who enjoyed season 1 of Baka to Test.
Story: (Skip over story if you haven't watched season 1)
As for story, as I stated before and under the assumption that this is not a spoiler and you have watched season 1, the plot is no longer trying to take class A facilities nor is it to prove that grades mean absolutely nothing like the first season was trying to do. The first season had a goal at least to what they were trying to do where as the second season had no major goal but only a couple mini goals where the first one was extremely stupid in its purpose and the second one only makes sense if you watch the OVAs that came out after season 1. Otherwise, the other lets say 8 episodes were just either flash backs or fan service. This is a true marking that they should have probably ended the series at season 1 and threw in some OVAs to make some jokes.
By far the biggest disappointment would be the lack of battling in this one which was the WHOLE POINT OF THE SHOW TO BEGIN WITH! They have some battling but overall, it was ridiculous how little the battling was not to mention lack of chibi cuteness which was enforced in season 1
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SPOILER: As for love interests between Aki and his two potential girls, they seem to enforce it more but for the most part, the ending emulates almost precisely the ending of the first season which is probably more annoying than anything that they did that.

Dialogue:
As for Dialogue, as I said before nothing really changes between the first and second season. Unlike the first season, there is little character development beyond a little that they seem to just toss in at the end because they realized they did none in this season. Basically, it was at the point where what they were saying was absolutely predictable. There were only a few surprises and that was during the part when they had some character development. As such, I cannot really give dialogue more than a 2/5 because of the low quality that it had. If you like repetition though, then go right ahead and watch this, I'm sure you'll enjoy it greatly.
Animation:
As usual and it is really hard to get a bad grade in Animation, the animation was good where not many scenes were repeated unless they were doing a repetitive joke and they overall keep the viewer entertained with such movements on the screen. Not much else to say beyond the good job in animation.
Entertainment:
Drama: Not a Drama I know but the dramatic parts are a bit cliche and predictable for the most part if you saw the first season.
Humor: Enforcing OLD JOKES IS NOT FUNNY! Okay, doing it every once in a while is funny and some on going jokes can be humorous but doing it all the time just makes a person bored out of their mind. With little original content in this one the humor just does a bunch of slapstick and misinterpretations... big surprise there if you watched season 1. Overall there were a few parts that were pretty funny which is why I semi enjoyed the series but overall the humor was terrible in comparison due to predictability.
Overall I can't say that season 2 deserves praise. It is nice to see the characters back but with such a good season 1, season 2 just did not live up to the expectations and really it was more or less beating a dead horse half of the time. The episodes really only keep you half entertained and with only a little interest they probably should consider not making a season 3 unless they have a story or plot to work with.
