Summary: The inhabitants of the continent of Cruzon are born with the ability to freely control quartz. Technology based on this power allows them to perform a great multitude of tasks such as shoot projectiles and pilot mobile suits (called Golems in this society). Rygart Arrow is an un-sorcerer, a rare individual who is unable to levitate even the smallest crystal. Living with his brother on a farm, he receives a letter from an old friend, Hodr, the current king. Close companion of the king and queen when they were students at Assam Military School, Arrow is informed that a war is about to occur. Hodr called him because an ancient type of Golem has been found in a mining shaft. No one has been able to move it and queen Sigyn, an expert engineer, suspects that maybe an un-sorcerer might be the key to activate it.

I read the manga not long ago and was totally hooked by the arts and story line, which obviously led to my jumping from joy when i found this anime (you can download all most recent 6 volumes of the manga on mangatraders.com btw).

As a huge mecha fan, this anime is totally a treat this year for me. Characters are all very well designed in terms of appearances and personalities. I love their past involvement with each other and a possible love triangle. The 'currently main bad guy' is very cool (and crazily strong/smart) and i have a secret wish to find out something between him and the main girl lol

Battles are not as long lasting and complicated as in the Gundam series or Code geass, but still very interesting. And unlike some other popular mecha anime series, this main guy has a huge disadvantage compared to everyone else in the same kingdom/era but that weakness is also what makes him special ie. the only one able to pilot a special machine. There hasn't been an explanation yet from the 'bad guy' (in either the manga or the anime) so i'm still waiting :)

Definitely worth a try whether you like the poster or the summary up there or not!!!
