Something different.

The reason I began watching this show was through channel surfing. Although I saw a minute or two of the show at first, it was captivating. I usually hate beginning series from a mid-point, yet there is something about the characters, the animation and storyline that draws you in.
At first, the storyline may seem generic if you watch a lot of robot oriented anime (or programs in general), but there are a lot of personal touches that are unique and exciting to the series. The characters are clever. Although taken from the original version, there are many changes which better the characters. No matter what type of character you like, I'm sure you'll find an interest in one, if not all.
Overall, it's a very quirky series with a lot of entertainment value; it's a shame it hasn't been continued.
