Chihayafuru

It was really unexpected. I expected it to be really boring and lame, with the story about a japanese card game (karuta) , however it was really moving and emotional. The tournaments the characters participate in is so intense, you want to know what happens next. A very good slice of life anime, however if there was a second season made it would be even better.
