This is the sequel, or second season if you prefer, to Clannad, and it doesn't disappoint. While the first series was largely humorous, this season will make you cry, and cry, and cry.

The story is, again, absolutely top notch, and one of the greatest I have ever seen. This time around it follows our protagonist in his post-high school days.

The dialogue is still brilliantly written as well, and really is what makes this anime so powerful. If they hadn't done such a masterful job of writing it, I'm not sure I would be recommending this to anyone.

The animation is, if not better than the first series, at least as good, so no worries there.

This anime, when watched with its preceding series, is definitely a must see. Even if you don't particularly like sad animes, you shouldn't deprive yourself of seeing this masterpiece.
