pros
+ unique concept and story
+ dark but good artwork and animation
+ good characters, dynamics, and development
cons
- sudden end without closure
- strong characters don't get a role (yet)
- mc a little too wimpy

conclusion: 16+ as it's quite the bloodbath - but don't let a first shallow impression deceive you, this isn't entirely a slaughterhouse. or rather, it is, but one with an interesting story and a unique twist to it behind all of it. dark, but fitting artwork, characters you're able to empathise with (well, just forget the main chara), good chara dynamics and development. problem is that the anime, as so many others, got cut short, and takes off without closure and without even naming the real story/central problem. personally, thus, i once again prefer the manga, but this thing is good for what it is.
