Summary:
Two years have passed since Hei and Yin escaped the Syndicate after the events of the first season. Making their way to Russia, Hei encounters a young girl named Suou Pavlichenko, whose family is gradually pulled into the war between contractors and various intelligence factions. Meanwhile, Misaki Kirihara has quit her position in Foreign Affairs to begin her own investigations into Hei, the Contractors and the Syndicate.
Ryuusei no Gemini is kinda like a train crash in some ways, you know it's horrible, but you just can't look away.
That said, RnG has excellent animation and the graphics are surprisngly crisp and fluid for an anime, and the entertainment you get from watching it is also considerable, but don't expect the plot to make any sense until the very end, and even then, some suspension of disbelief may be required.
In my personal opinion, RnG could have been better, but it certainly isn't bad either. It probably depends on your taste wheter or not RnG is to your liking.
Ultimately however, it doesn't quite reach the level of awesome of its predecessor.
