A Classic, Epic, and Best Anime in my List

The story is typical of any super hero shows. Bad guys trying to control or destroy the world(s) and the good guys gather to try to stop them in order to save the world(s). Dragonball Kai is typical in that respect but at the same time its beyond typical. They bring new meaning to the words "Super Humans". This is the most well thought mixture of various genres that are all wrapped into one. Watch it and you will notice what I mean. You will also be surprised at how well all the characters and their personalities as well as how they interact with various situations. Whats probably the most well thought part of the story would be how they managed to leave cliffhangers at just the right moment, making you wonder what will happen next.

The dialogue is by far my most favorite. It does not matter which language it is in (English/Japanese Dubbed), they are completely unforgettable. Particularly for my two favorite saiyans, Goku and Vegeta. Once you hear their voices, you will see for yourself that their voices are a perfect match for their character. The same can be said for the rest of the characters. Another good example would be as the characters grow up are are introduced. Regardless of the time frame or situations they are in, you will never ever forget their voices and as you watch other shows, you slowly realize "Hey, thats the voice of _______ from DB Kai".

Animation is astonishing. The detail of the world and environment is just stunning. Although some of the images are the same, you will rarely pay any attention to them since your attention is focused on the most invaluable part of the animation-the fight scenes. You will notice and respect just how much time and effort it takes to create such backgrounds. The fight scenes are on a whole other level. You cannot just ignore the fact at how detailed the characters movement and effects that they cause around them. It is just awe inspiring. If anything, it matches exactly as one would predict as a cause and effect event. For example, when something blows up, you expect to see a pressure wave, mushroom cloud, dust, debri, a flash of light and more coming from the epicenter of a blast. I could go on but I'll let you watch and see for yourself.

The entertainment factor is from, well, everything. Comedy, action, drama, and more makes it entertaining. Everything that I have described is what makes it entertaining. You cannot ignore this show. The only thing with Dragonball Kai is that it is a shortened version of Dragonball Z as well as re-edited/digitally enhanced/whatever making it appear clearer for this modern age. Don't get me wrong, even if it is shortened, it is still the best anime to see. That said, I would highly recommend watching this show if you want to watch a classic, well-rounded, memorable anime that will make you wish there were more.
