agree with smartys the side character are there only to please the fan without actually complishing anything , makarov which is suppose to be strong like hell is beaten 2 times by phantom and the one on this arc . side character only got stronger when they are fighting someone from their past or got an important role other than that they always lying flat on the ground . all those explosion and gun shot ( seems like from yu-yu hakusho) by the enemies master are just eyecandies and is having no effect on natsu hahaha he got shot and blast without any meaninful injuries --" even rave is better than this one
