This anime was mainly tournament based accompanied with side stories. I watched this before the first series titled "fighting beauty wulong." I'm guessing that this one picks up where the other left off. The tournament consists of 6 fighters, 3 of which are sisters (Mao Lan, Chungyang, and Ling Shen). There is a very strong family connection even though the rift between father and daughter was evident. It's a short series worth watching. The plot being that one fighter sways off course by learning an art not true to herself and another fighter is relied upon to save her by beating her in the ring. After watching it, it does leave the viewer wanting more, and leaves one such question, Why doesn't Yuan hide the fact that he's the father?
