I went into watching Freezing thinking that this would be like Claymoor or even Fate - Stay Night. The standard idea of a idealistic male with a well endowed combative female "partner" plays out as expected with quite a bit of action in each episode.

What I was quite surprised with, as each episode passed, was a more complicated canvas of the main characters. Our heroin has a past hinted at while our hero remains faithfully and begins to understand that there is more there.

While watching this anime, I couldn't help but think of Stan Lee's (of Marvel Comics) touch that with the superheros...they all have an Achilles heal. And Freezing brings that in as well.

I am hooked and quite interested in seeing how this anime plays out.

If you like quick action with hints of deeper story dropped in over the episodes, then this may be for you. If you like the action to be between the characters and not some "artificial" bad guy....well...then this will deliver...at least through episode 6. :-) which is where it's at now.....
