I FREAKING LOVE IT!

Let me get straight to the point... I watched the original FMA anime a few years back, and it was freaking amazing... I didn't even know it didn't follow the manga until Brotherhood was announced (not really a manga-follower). FOR ANY PERSONS READING THIS WHO'VE WATCHED THE ORIGINAL ANIME... DON'T YOU DARE MISS OUT ON BROTHERHOOD BECAUSE "I'VE SEEN IT!".
Brotherhood is WAY different than the original... It branches off from the original anime the second they meet their sensei [not a spoiler to new persons]. And let me tell you this... Brotherhood has a FAST pace... to those who watched the original... things that happened close to the end, occur in like the 10-15 eps... and that's the last you'll ever remember from the original. Ever.
Now, onto the actual Brotherhood anime. OMFG I LOVE IT! From the openings (Again by Yui is my fave!) and endings. Everything... The animation in Brotherhood is amazing, especially when it comes to facial features. The animation dips on a few occasions, such as background art, etc... but you won't even notice it. You'll be too busy focusing on the amazing fight scenes, amazing facial detail and character animation. It is REALLY crisp!
Sound in Brotherhood is one of the best. It sets the tone sooooooooooooooooo goood! It fits in perfectly... It makes me wonder what kind of pure-win geniuses the guys behind Brotherhood are...
I love the humor in this also... There'd be a sad moment, that would have you very close to tears/already crying, then BAM gotta include some humor to break the tension... Don't worry, it doesn't occur everytime... it happens a few times because trust me, tension can really build up in this anime.
The story... oh the story.. My favourite... so many twists... so developed... AGH perfection. This isn't your original "I WILL PROTECT EVERYONE!" crap story... it actually makes sense, and there's so much character development going on, making everything more emotional, and leading to a more developed story, which is made even better by superb and unexpected twists. What just makes me love it more though... is the producers behind Brotherhood, really know how to keep you on the edge... Watching an episode on Brotherhood is exactly like this:
-Starts watching...
-Gets past opening
-Humor... *laughs*
-More humor... *laughs way more*
-Suddenly things take a change because something happened
-Producers continuously switch scenes between many scenarios, involving character development, etc...
-The something that happened suddenly become OMGWTF
-Scene switch (more development and sudden relation to the OMGWTF occurence)
-HAS BEEN ON EDGE OF SEAT SINCE HUMOR ENDED! ><

Honestly, WATCH THIS! Don't you DARE miss out on Brotherhood. It is a feat of an anime next to Clannad and Toradora! for me. Don't be the one guy out saying, "Oh I didn't watch it because I saw the original." I would tackle you if you said that...
