| Summary: |
Two brothers lose their mother to an incurable disease. With the power of "alchemy", they use taboo knowledge to resurrect her. The process fails, and as a toll for using this type of alchemy, the older brother, Edward Elric loses his left leg while the younger brother, Alphonse Elric loses his entire body. To save his brother, Edward sacrifices his right arm and is able to affix his brother's soul to a suit of armor. With the help of a family friend, Edward receives metal limbs - "automail" - to replace his lost ones. With that, Edward vows to search for the Philosopher's Stone to return the brothers to their original bodies, even if it means becoming a "State Alchemist", one who uses his/her alchemy for the military.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is a manga based anime and one of the greatest anime ever made. Finally based on a manga. The anime is very entertaining. It's fun, characters are fascinating, It's has great actions sequences and it has great storyline. This is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.
From my Technical Aspects of the anime. Animations are excellent, Animation Studio Company Bones did a great job for their work here. The details, the character designs, the alchemy effects and the animations is very fluid, I felt like I'm watching a big budget anime film but a long one. The dialogue and sounds are awesome. I can say it's flawless victory! ^_^
I love the original Full Metal Alchemist. I can't say it's the "original" because the manga based is the original. It's has full of fillers because anime passed the manga. The company has permission to the author, to continue the anime. But making it different to the manga storyline. They end up original storyline and by far it did well-received to anime critics and became one of the most popular anime. Not until the manga based anime is released. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is way better than the Full Metal Alchemist. I recommended both anime to watch because they are highly entertaining.
