This is one hell of a series. Very compelling.
I actually started watching this series in English and I thought it was the worst thing I'd ever seen. The English voices were annoying and unconvincing and there were some of the worst fake-British accent I've ever heard. Seriously, it was an embarrassment (seriously, if you have the English dub, delete it immediately). But then my friend saved me and gave me the Japanese with subs and it was like watching a totaly different anime. It is pretty cool and the music was one of the major appeals for me, that and Alacard's awsome resurrections (sorry -- but that's not really a spoiler). It tends to be pretty intense and heavy, but it's very short, which makes up for it being slow at times. I'd say this is striclty 18+
Warning: watch it and you're guaranteed to fall in love with Alacard! *giggles*
