Summary:
A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.
In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.
The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak.
I love it! So far the episode follows the first chapter with a few differences. Animation is by far the best that I have ever seen both in appearance and motion as well as the background. The added bonus to the animation is that it has a similar style to the artist who drew the manga. Character's voice, in my opinion, match the character's personality and appearance perfectly. The way the characters interacted with their situation and each other was so moving that it sent chills down my spine. It's weird because it gave me a sensation similar to when I first read HOTD manga which made me continue reading it. Ever since I watched the anime, not only do I watch this one episode several times, I have also gone back and re-read the manga and have been re-hooked to HOTD. I cannot wait until the next episode.
