pros
+ good story flow and no important info is missing so far
+ greatly updated animation
+ artwork stays the same old likeable
cons
- different voices from the original (takes alot of time getting used to)
- different display of characters imo
- one of the worst musical scores in anime >.<

conclusion: i was sceptical about this at first, thinking they could have continued the story from the old hxh instead of remaking it. but this is good in its own rights. moves faster than the original, imho has better flow so far with no important info missing, although i doubt they can keep this up all the way through, especially in dialogical terms. voice actors changed and at first were painful to listen to for me (liked the original) but once you get used to it, they're well-chosen (ignore gon's mother, please). charas themselves seem a bit toned down and aren't quite the same, seems like this was made more child-friendly. same with some of the violence. a lot more has been 'censored'/cut out here. greatly updated animation, although the background music is probably one of the worst scores in anime ever. overall still a nice one and though not quite the same as the original, should be worth a watch if you liked that one. also: nice getting into if you like the usual action/adventure shounen.

peace.
