Summary:
Somewhere in the vast sea of the Internet, there's a website that can only be accessed at the stroke of midnight. Known as the Jigoku Tsushin, rumor has it that if you post a grudge there, the Jigoku Shoujo will appear and drag whoever torments you into the inferno. Very little is known about the girl - all we know for sure is that she lives with her equally enigmatic grandmother, that three magical straw dolls accompany and serve her, and that whenever a posting on the Jigoku Tsushin moves her, she becomes the Jigoku Shoujo.

It was okay. The main story was great, but I felt it took too long to emerge from the main storyline. On the other hand I think it was done very well because without the large ammount of episodes we wouldn't get to see the bond between Hajime and Tsugumi develop. Although the episode to episode format was a bit grating and repetitive, the interactions between the characters made it worthwhile and I can appreciate the ending more. (I wanted so many times to throw something at the screen going somebody just give Tsugumi a hug ; w ; )
Animation was OK, only the last few episodes really were 'entertaining' to me, but I'm still going to watch the next series anyway :3
