One day, however, Hyou is taken to the palace by a minister. Winding up on the losing side of a power-struggle, Hyou manages to return to the village, barely alive. Shin then meets a boy who closely resembles Hyou, Ei Sei. For now he is the king of Qin; later he will become the emperor Shi Huangdi.

So I got interested in this anime after someone mentioned the name in one anime fan page at Facebook and I took a chance. I have been watching animes for over 8 years now and these days there are rarely animes worth my time. And there was just watching the first episode about two orphan servant boys who became fascinated with warfare after watching a full scale war in Ancient China. The Story evolves and one of them ended up in the royal castle. His name is Piao. Leaving his friend Xin, with whom he had over thousand fearsome battles was not easy but he had to do it make his dream of becoming a history shaking General real.
The plot has Kings, Princes, Ministers, Fierce Warriors, Martial Art Sword fight. After a few episodes you will like the character Xin who reminds me of Luffy.
I am currently watching episode 9 and I have to say that there has not yet been a dull moment.
If you are looking for an anime that has strategy, philosophy and lots of fighting, you should not wait any further for Kingdom will meet your desire.
