Kuroko no Basuke is not a Slam Dunk clone. Both anime have basketball themes but the similarity ends there. Seeing episode 1 alone got me hooked on this anime and after seeing all 3 so far I cant wait for the next episodes.
The story is engaging and its not your typical "I want to learn this sport and eventually I'll be the champion at the end" (like Sakuragi in Slam Dunk). The characters are well drawn, the music is well matched to the scenes and gets you pumped up and the story telling is fast paced. This anime is worth checking out whether you're into basketball or not.
