Not the best in the franchise

I felt that the first half of the series was somewhat rushed. The characters feel too childish and naive. Flit appeared to be too immature for his role as the protagonist. Emily came off as annoying. Her role in the first half of the series seemed pointless. So far the story is rather bland and full of holes. The enemy has somehow been able to destroy many colonies without the federation doing any damage to them at all. Then all of a sudden comes along flit with his gundam and all of the crappy mobile suits are somehow able to shoot them down. Overall I'm disappointed with this gundam series.
