Great followup to a classic

The classic being Zeta Gundam which is where ZZ picks up directly from. As the first reviewer mentioned this is one of the lighter Gundam series out there though towards the end you do see it kind of drifting back towards its dark roots. If you ever saw Z Gundam then somehow mentioned to skip directly to Char's Counterattack and were wondering what happens between Z Gundam and that, this series will bridge that gap (more or less) and it will show the fates of characters (like Yazan Gable from Z Gundam). In sum this is a solid entry in the Gundam series taking place in the familiar UC timeline and should be watched if you're a Gundam fan.
