Masterpiece?

I read reviews for Naruto and so many say masterpiece. I can honest say since watching Naruto since the begging that Shippuuden is far from a masterpiece.

The story can be considered good with plenty of tear jerking moments. Now problems with the story are the bogus story lines which at times just have you ready to slap someone. Another main problem with the story is it does not develop really any of the other characters. Lee, Neji, and half of the other member you see in the first Naruto are almost nonexistent. Now you do have Team 10 which have some great moments but more so Shikamaru.

The dialogue at times are decent as well. You have humored moments mixed with as sad tear jerking speeches. The problem is some of the speeches make little to no sense as well as them repeating themselves at times.

Animation is where I am most disappointed with in this anime. If you want to understand then take this, I read the manga and wait to see the greatness that was to be Pein vs Naruto. When I see it there are moments where the animation just looked wrong. So many times you watch Shippuuden and think why they decided to go with this style instead of sticking with what was Naruto.

Now with that said the anime is still entertaining with some great fights, funny moments, and plenty of characters. I will say though that if you have not been a fan of Naruto then this won't change that with lots of fillers again. I always recommend the manga, and then just catch the episodes that actually involve the story.
