Summary: Oz Bezarius, heir to one of the duke houses, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he's cast into the prison known as the "Abyss", only to be saved by a "chain" known as Alice, the bloodstained black rabbit. It is unknown why was he cast into Abyss, how does Alice factor into it all, and what does the organization known as "Pandora" want with him.

If you like mysteries and plot twists with a good amount of humor and action, then Pandora Hearts is full of them. The thing is, you'll probably only get a quarter of all the questions answered in the anime.

Pandora Hearts is based on a manga of the same title. While it follows the original story for most episodes, the anime like most adaptations of ongoing manga trails off as it nears the last episode. The anime throws you into a sea of mystery and tension, then slams you directly to the wall of "WTF?" with a ridiculously forced ending. If you are only planning to watch the anime, I ask you to reconsider and read the manga as well, where everything will take a 180-degree turn. Just when you think you've figured everything out, Mochizuki-sensei will shatter your beliefs for you.

Still, seeing the characters moving on screen is quite entertaining. The OSTs are beautifully composed and well executed, compensating for the so-so art style (esp. the coloring) used.
