| Summary: |
A spate of mafia assasinations occurs in America, the work of the mysterious organization named Inferno. "Phantom" is their most strongest and capable assassin, however a lone tourist witnesses Phantom's latest act of murder. He unwittingly exposes the top assassin's true identity, a young girl named Ein. Witnesses are usually killed, but the man is captured and taken to be brainwashed into "Zwei", Inferno's newest assassin, with no memory of who he is. From this point on, Zwei is drawn into a world of conspiracy, deceit and violence. |

The AMAZING-NESS of this anime came to me as a surprise as i have not read the visual novoel it was based on. It's semi-psychological, very action packed, if you like Darker than Black (DtB), you'll love this one, i personally acually like it better then DtB because it has a satisfying ending.
SPOLIER ALERT:
The ending may seem unplesant for many people, as the main characters dies. This shows that there will be no second season, also it means that Zwei has no meaning in living on anymore. I mean how can a ordinary assassin in Mongolia kill a Phantom?? They cant, therefore, meaning that both protagonists have no more goals, no more memories to seek, and no more meaning to kill or live.
I hope that clears up some things for people who were wondering what's going on as i see some people asking bout that on other forums XD
