Break out those old DVDs, because this OVA expects you to know Rurouni Kenshin inside out, and if you don't things are going to be confusing.
Your basically dropped into the story a couple of episodes into the Kyoto arc of the show and from there it feels like they were trying to cram about 10 half hour episodes into an hour. This is basically Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Abridged, though they rewrite events, it seems to be towards the worse (At least for me, I don't know about you guys).
So if your a long time fan of the series it could worth the time, to see what kind of changes they made. But, nostalgia can only go so far.
