Kenshin Himura was an assassin for the Imperial side during the war that ended the Shogunate and installed the Meiji government. After killing countless people, he made a vow to never kill again. I dunno how to explain, but I think this movie is simple flat. Some story wrap up to one,the romance should have more spice and for action movie its not that awesome, the effect is just so-so. Well if you're not too fanatic with the original anime, this movie is worth it, I know it's not easy to make a live movie based on anime.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
