This anime has had a bad rep because this is sunrise's newest edition to their line of anime and it doesn't seem to be on par with Scryed. As only 6 episodes have come out, I can only give a vague review of how good or bad this anime really is, but I will try. I'll also try to keep it short.

The first episode seemed pretty bland as far as action anime goes, I'm sure they were aiming for a big bang to start the anime off with, somewhat like Scryed, but it almost backfired. The story to this point seems to be coming together, while some things are left completely in the dark, as many anime tend to do this early in their life, some things are left to your own deduction, which in the case of using jewelry to unleash their power's... is a bad idea. That leaves too many other questions. What is clear is that like in Scryed, having these powers have a large cost on the individual or someone else. It is almost unheard-of costly! You have to use huge jewels that cost millions for by my guess, only minutes of super power, unless you want to be consumed and go on a killing rampage. And yes, the better (more expensive) the jewel, the better your powers are, or something...

If your looking for a action packed, fast paced anime, try this one. So far it is rather entertaining and seems to get better with every episode, but it's doesn't leave you with the feeling that you want more and more after every episode. Try it, I like it so far!
