Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN who has been doing their own research on time travel tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them. |

The story is new, and the character design is refreshing.
Art is up to date, but it uses an interesting camera angle with more realistic colors instead of the normal bright colors.
The pace of the story is somewhat slow, but it's the kind of anime that will get you thinking and feel more interested in what will happen next, and how or why it's working. I've always been a fan of time travel, parallel universes, and most modern scientific theories. If you are too try this one out.
