Shining Tears X Wind is an adaptation of the RPG series of playstation games. The story flows well throughout the series and doesn't require the person watching to have actually played the games in order to understand the anime. My only complaint about the series is that they rushed the story. It would have been better as a 26 episode series instead so that the characters could get more development and the story line wouldn't have had to rush. In order to fit the story into the 13 episode version there were huge gaps where a major event would happen and then in the next episode it would already be days or weeks later. This left questions like, "what happened to characters in between? And how did those characters end up suddenly on the same side?" It's an anime with replay value, although I personally have to wait about a half year to year in order to rewatch so that I have time to forget things before watching again.
