What I like about Tactics is the fact that it's all based on Japanese supernatural mythology and monsters, so it's something that's different from the norm. The characters work really well together and are a lot of fun, but the story also has a lot of dark undertones and a fair share of angst.
But at the end, what you get from this show is a thriller, a horror, a whole lot of comedy and characters who you can really feel for at the end.
To those who have read the manga, it does take a totally different path in a lot of respects, but it's story is equally thought provoking and fun. So give it a chance ;)
