BEYOND THE IMPOSSIBLE

Out of all anime that I've watched, and I've watched plenty, this is the greatest anime series that ever existed. Its supreme awesomeness can never be surpassed by any anime. I guess I should give you the reasons why this anime is the best of the best of the best of the best of the best and so on

[AWESOME CHARACTERS]
These series has a very interesting set of characters although their designs were quite simple. You would be crazy to not like Kamina or Simon, considering their... unique personality that stands out from the rest of the characters, and of course Yoko and Kittan, and of course who could ever forget Leeron. The male characters' reaction towards Leeron will surely make you laugh. Kahaha

And what I like about this anime is that the creators were not afraid to kill of the characters, including the important characters in this series. Gainax, well done. Killing your own characters will emphasize that the good guys aren't immortal and the seriousness of the situation they're dealing with. Unlike Naruto and Bleach who keeps hoarding thousands of good guys and they're unkillable. Freaking immortals. Being afraid to kill off some of the good guys is a major mistake in any story

[AWESOME STORYLINE]
This is the only mecha anime I've ever watched. Hell, I don't even like the mecha genre. When I first watched this series I didn't even know this was a mecha themed anime. But it took my attention as soon as the opening music. It sucked my mind in like a black hole and it never did let go

First of all, the storyline actually sticks to its theme, which I won't explain cuz it'll be a spoiler. Even though so many crazy things didn't make sense, like how they generate drills the size of skyscrapers and flinging galaxies during their fight, the story actually makes sense. The things doesn't make sense but the story itself makes sense. And I kinda like the ending, even though it is entirely different than what we're expecting it would be, Gainax made an awesome job cuz if it would be anti-climatic if it ends up normally

[ANIMATION]
The fast paced animations and no draggy long talks between characters during fight scenes is just what I wanted! I never got any crazy action anime with "talk less, fight more" policy other than Dragon Ball, and this is friggin awesome. Of course, some of the fight scenes are too damn fast until you didn't even get what the hell is going on, and that's too bad

[ENTERTAINMENT]
Well, not much fanservice, except from Yoko but the comedy is funny as hell. Almost every episode has its funny moments. Even the sad ones.
