After seeing this anime everywhere (Kinokuniya, tumblr, cosplay, etc.) I finally decided I had to figure out what exactly was going on. I'm glad that I did.

Tiger & Bunny is an all around great anime. The art is good, the CG is great, there is a good amount of variety in characters, it has good Seiyuu's, and while most of the time it has a fun action packed tone to it, there is a more mature undertone to the characters and back story. I felt like there were enough characters, but not too many, and we got a good amount of airtime with the side characters, while not taking away from the main plot line. The dynamic between "Tiger" and "Bunny" is great, with their banter back and forth being very much amusing.

I think one of the best factors of T&B is the main character. While most anime out there usually stars a pretty 17ish girl/boy who's either too happy or too serious (and I personally am generally annoyed by), I felt like T&B was a nice refreshing change. Kotetsu "Wild Tiger" is a 30-something father, down on his luck hero. He's not perfect, he screws up, and by all rights he should be a raging jerk, but he's not. Throughout the story you get to see exactly how much depth his character has, and by the end of the series I found myself adding him to my favourite characters list.

Tiger & Bunny isn't perfect, it does have flaws (just like any other anime), but it's definitely worth a shot. :D
