Much like Rin herself, this anime was small in scale but large in heart. A simple tale exploring the relationship between 30 year old Daikichi and Rin, his 6 year old aunt who he take under his wing when no-one else in the family seems to care. Watching them get to know each other and Daikichi fumble his way through suddenly becoming a parent is the core of what makes this show so enjoyable.
Note to those wanting more than these 11 episodes; the manga takes quite a time jump as it continues so you might find it's not got the same feel that got from this anime. Also there is a live-action version that was released in Japan in August, but I've yet to see any news of a subtitled release.
