Ajimu: Kaigan Monogatari is a romantic-comedy anime that futility attempts to induce serious romance between the two protagonist.

Story - It's all about a boy who meets a girl on a everyday train ride going to school and the anime narrates his story as he musters up the courage to know this girl. Passable at best is what I choose to describe the plot. As for the female protagonist, enough of the blonde girl fair-skinned with two hair strands poking in front of their face. I swear to God that I've saw like seven anime with female leads like this.

Dialogue - Dialogues in this anime are cliches of the past. 'Nuff said.

Animation - Passable with good remarks. The fact that it is an ONA suggest that certain animations will be downgraded to what you used to watch in other rom-com anime. Some episodes shows some really unappealing animation which really dragged the score down a lot. Voice acting is quite terrible though some can be recognizable to other popular anime around. Music is great at first but it gets repetitive throughout the series.

Entertainment - It is prejudiced to rate this series below average when it comes to this department. Surely the anime is lackluster in other categories but as far as entertainment goes, it will give you some nice chuckles. The only disappointing part is rather you want to watch it at least a couple more times before you'll notice that it's just keeps getting worse and worse every time you watch it.

I'd recommend it as a good anime for entertaining you a short bit but as Rom-Com anime, it definitely failed to give me that push that I'm looking for at what Rom-Com anime really is. Watch this if you are bored enough to find another Rom-Com anime and you want to kill time at least for a couple of hours. (show less)

I just have one word to describe this anime: "LAME"...
I think this anime was one of the biggest waste of time i ever had (reminds me of "Lamune" 0.o). Not only the story was lame, as well as the characters. Their dialoque was basic, didn't had any emotion in it. The characters were just some simple-minded folks -.-'
I'm a person who enjoys love-romance anime...but this one was just too damn Boring~~ Not even a bit interesting! And when the finale came...What A Surprise!?...NOT! This was like a damn Fairy Tail...
