It was short and I preferred it to be short. The series dragged out long enough and I thought the pacing was too slow. Based on the otome game, the anime basically allows the protagonist to go over all the possible dating routes with each of the male characters. Keep in mind that my protagonist has no name throughout the entire series (which I find incredible) because she has amnesia. My greatest criticism is that the protagonist has far too little lines and minimal development throughout the series. Not only did she speak so little, she is also the type of character that people find really frustrating. As the viewer you're thinking "C'mon, do this already" but she however always hesitates and doesn't seem to know how to do anything. Just because you have amnesia doesn't mean you lose memory of doing everyday activities. As insulting as it sounds, she was pretty dumb for a protagonist. As the story progresses, roughly past episode 6, she becomes a bit more intelligent because she's beginning to grasp events more and starting to actually think things through. Another thing that bothered me about the series was the character of Orion. He seemed like a bright mascot that would accompany the protagonist and assist her at first. However, his assistance didn't really help much and I'm going to assume that in the game that his role is kind of like an indicator of events that can be triggered.
As the protagonist jumps from world to world, events did get interesting and that was what I liked the most. Each male character had their unique set of problems and you get the gist of how each world is an alternate reality and a possible future for the protagonist. I do feel however some scenes were a bit cheesy and the dialogue took way too long. I usually skip through much of the dialogue and end up watching 10-15 minutes of anime because I got bored with it. The ending I think tied together nicely except the existence of Neil being thrown in felt forced. As a viewer, I was very frustrated over the entire series.
The animation was consistent and the color palette is fairly bright and pastel-like. It wasn't exceptional and since most of the story was dialogue, it uses a lot of still animation. As for character designs, they wore clothing based on the 4 suits of poker but the series had absolutely nothing to do with poker or cards or anything related. If I really had to stretch it and make a connection, perhaps the protagonist's journey being thrown from world to world was like shuffling cards or gambling of chance. I probably would not recommend this anime to watch. It is a very very light and slow paced series. Possibly more suitable for those that really enjoyed the game or similar franchise. ( show less)

this Anime is dying from inside. lacking to Action and Drama makes him too boring.
The only reason I thought it will be great Anime because I read Kakihara Tetsuya (Natsu Voice Actor) will be voice acting for Shin.
but I can't stand to this Anime anymore. Gomen-nee Tetsuya <3

Maybe I wasn't paying attention, but I thought this first episode was dry. The animation is good quality, the characters are boring and unemotional. I see other reviews saying the storying is "Fantasic" but I don't know which anime they're talking about, because this story is uneventful and recycled. Amnesia incorporates three of my favorite genres (romance, mystery, and supernatural) yet hasn't done anything with them. Understand this, the first episode of any anime should be the bait that catches the viewer attention just like you'd read in an ( read more)
