Summary: |
In the year 2009, Yuji Kaido is an average guy diagnosed with a serious disease (the "B-cells") and is put into cryogenic stasis until a cure is found. Twenty-two years later, he is awakened in the midst of a raging battle between armored soldiers and insectoid beings called the "Blue" which have overrun the Earth. |

I don’t quite know how I made it to the end of this movie. If I had realised there was a TV series, I would have attempted to watch that instead. Scenes are detached and you are left wondering how the characters ended up in the next scene when the proceeding one hasn’t finished. I found the movie dated (although those of you who are into this stuff may find it a classic). It’s not particularly my genre of movie with all the mecha and militant themes throughout; however I don’t think that effected my opinion in saying ‘Blue Gender’ left ( read more)
