Definitely one of the most interesting and unique anime i have watch so far this year. The idea of blending economics with action and drama certainly is first i have seen and the anime did it very well though for some the "economics" part may be a bit confusing, still you don't have to know it very well in order to appreciate this anime. Basically the story is about a group of people who use their FUTURE as collateral in exchange they get to fight each other and if you manage to win you "gain" money that can be used in the real world, however, if you go "bankrupt" you'll lose only only your earnings but also your future like children, company, career etc...The fights reminds me of Persona rpg games (the cards are a bit similar as well) where you summon your "Assets" via card to fight your battles and you can also attack your opponents directly. Seemed simple enough at first but the fun part starts when you realized that losing doesn't only effect your future but also cause a ripple effect on other people as well. What's great about this anime is that it makes you think about how important is your future and that it doesn't only effect you but the people around you as well. It also put emphasis on how the world values "money" and how it effects as indirectly. The downside about this anime is that everything seemed too fast paced (it's only 11 episodes long) and some of the characters weren't given enough emphasis and the fights are really short which is a shame since that "Asset" are really cool and the way they fight each other were actually interesting to watch. Some may also find the fights scenes to be a bit confusing not only is that it's too short but their is a lack of explanation on how they are executed. It is an anime completely based around the theme and concepts of money. Which in itself makes it completely original for such an original idea since its never been done before. i watched the first episode here and then downloaded the second one from gg subs.com and i can honestly see no faults with it so far. Characters are solid. and i can't wait to find out more about them.
It's very intriguing and it makes you think what could happen with this type of story. Right now i am wondering what going to happen in the third episode and i will (when its comes out) download and watch it. If you've ever studied economics or business, etc. I garuntee you will at least enjoy this to some extent especially if you are a fond anime/manga lover. i did one year in economics so i do find this interesting.
If you do watch it I am confident that the average viewer won't be disappointed even if maybe you find this type of theme to be labelled as ''boring'' WHICH IT ISN'T! >.<! (show less)
