My friend told me to watch this, and it turned out to be one of the best animes ive ever watched! Its diffrent from other animes ive watched like bleach and naruto, which focus a lot on fighting (don't get me wrong, i love that stuff =). Death note is like a battle of wits between two super smart guys...and it couldn't be more exciting. The way L and Light figure stuff out blows my mind.THe only think i don't like about the anime is the second theme song (emo much?) and that fact that it was so short. This anime could easily have survived for another 10 or 20 episodes. But i still recommend it to everyone as a must watch.

If you can imagine Yuri on Ice! meets Holmes of Kyoto, then this is it. Slow paced but gripping. Boy-Love but not distasteful...
