Story:(5) Original, superb, intelligent and full of wtf twists, on the rare occasion a little bit slow to set the scene or for character development, and although many say there is very little action in it, well there is quite a bit, Light uses his mind and the book as a weapon, as they say the pen is mightier than the sword! But seriously it is very entertaining to see the intricate web of carnage he creates all to further his 'purpose' and to save his own skin.

anyway to f'ed to right the rest, This is probably my favourite anime series ever, its a close bet between this and FMAbrotherhood, The whole anti-hero thing really made this extra enjoyable, sick of always save the day goodie goodie main char types. Anyways anyone watched the TV series Dexter, it was made after this and I swear they must have watched this and thought hmmm. lets make a TV series thats exactly like this but with real actors and no shinigami or death note. Seriously watching all the plot twists gave me Death Note dejavu.

And to the mind scrambled reviewer. i think the message at the end of Death Note wasn't; justice will always prevail in the end, its more like; Nothing lasts forever eventually all things come to an end.
