Summary: |
Unscrupulous student council president Jinnai has always felt threatened by his classmate Makoto, but spending most of his time in the physics lab, Makoto is completely unaware of this. One night while Makoto is working late on a project with Jinnai's sister Nanami, Jinnai tampers with Makoto's mysterious experiment. This results in the three students along with teacher-on-duty Fujisawa being whisked away to a faraway land called El Hazard. There Makoto and Jinnai are allied with opposing forces, and the four are drawn into the tempest on their quest to find a way back home. |

Like a lot of shows from the 90's Wanderer's takes most of the characters and elements of the OVA and tells a completely different story. Softening and smoothing out the story to be more palatable to a wider audience. The characters are a bit more childish but it is still very enjoyable.
