The first volume of this anime is a nice foundation for the second part. Emma is a maid in Victorian England, where she falls in love with William Jones, a man whose family has recently become part of the gentry. It's a great historical anime, because it deals with class difference and includes great references to Victorian London. The characters are well developed, though the story unfolds slowly, its worth watching til the second part.

This anime has a great art actually. Even though its has cliche story, but the story line is really nice. Its story is about a love between master and servant which is opposed by the man's family... The girl's character seems to be very good in manner and many other man love her, but she rejected all of their feeling. Only one man that she fall in love finally that is the young master Jounes. So, check it for yourself...
