Summary: The story is set on Okinawa's isolated island of Iwado, which has seen a growing movement advocating a return to an autonomous government. Ao Fukai, a 13-year-old boy with a missing father, lives on the island with an old doctor named Toshio and is about to enter middle school. Ao's mother was taken away a decade ago by unknown individuals. Naru Arata, Ao's 13-year-old childhood friend and the story's heroine, lives with her father, older sister, and grandmother. She has a "Yuta" power awakened within her due to an incident when she was young.

A mysterious entity called "Secret" suddenly appears and launches an attack on the Scub Coral lifeform on the island. In his fervent desire to protect the island, Ao launches a certain military FP called "Nirvash" aboard a Japanese military transport.

Pretty Good, But Dissapointing

I've watch the first season on Eureka 7 and expect more in this anime. The anime was good but, I don't now, it just feel not right. The animation was excellent and the story was pretty good, but the story just far from my expectation and became such a "mainstream mecha anime" when a boy with unknown past found a ultimate mecha, meet an strange creatures and trying to save the world. Without a deep romance and lack of character development (compared to the 1st seasons), I cannot say this was the "true sequel" of eureka seven. But, aside of what I (read more)

I know there's only less then 10 episodes out right now, the episodes have great animation and I have a subtle 50/50 feeling so I wouldn't have to much expectations and be disappointed in case they don't deliver.. Well gotta say after episode 8 I'm wondering if they're turning this into a *Concepts and story from the first anime - But not actually including anyone but Eureka, and maybe Renton to kind of say hey this is Eureka 7's sequel, trust us.
