I did think this one was a bored-anime
but when I saw the doujinshi ( yaoi, hehe ) I started interest a little
Italy was so cute
but, somehow I prefer Japan :)
the pairing I knew :
- England & American
- German & Italy

I am a fan of this anime and currently have both of the available box sets in my DVD case and watch them often. If you want a truely light hearted and hilarious anime to watch then this is it. Even though it is making fun of all the nations it's in non-offensive ways even I end up laughing at America. But when I watch it sometimes I find that the funny wares off at some parts and they seem a little bit stupid so I would say it's best to not watch this frequently.

A more comical side to the retelling of history, is great to all of those who don't take it too seriously.
