conclusion: and another harem anime... one that honestly doesn't look like it at first. the concept plays on extreme ironies and is quite well-done, and for two thirds of it, the anime honestly develops well with good development in characters and even the fanservice not too annoying. it can get into the way of the story here or there, but that's that. but then it goes downhill, with a few episodes being entirely rushed, marginal characters playing no more role and the fanservice entirely overriding the story purpose. don't get me wrong, i like eye candy, but when it starts being everywhere, it gets annoying. in the end? there's plot holes, none of the amazing ideas from the beginning feel developed enough, and the characters haven't gone beyond clichéd. i honestly loved the beginning, but after about episode 6-8, it's not worth the time anymore imo.

At first I wasn't sure about watching this anime so i had low expectations, so at the start i was pulled right in especially the first couple of episodes were excellent. however as the story progress it felt to me that some episodes seemed like filler-esque that there was a little bit of story and character development but with alot of fan service. then there is the ''ending'' the ending was terrible rushed without logic and riddled with fan service and no explanations to any of the relevations or story twists. overall this anime is a dispointment especially when the start is soo engaging and enjoyable. ideally this anime needs at least another 6 episodes to untangle the mess of the ending. shame its a shame (show less)

i must say that i was a bit disappointed with this anime! aisde from the great animation and fun loving characters the only thing lacking is a solid and interesting plot. i have to admit that story of a boy destined to be a demon king and instead aspire to become a pope is quite interesting, but i found the episode a bit of a dragged maybe because it was made of only 12 episodes that i feel that the idea was given not so much though i might as well be seeing an OVA instead of a anime series. i even find the main character a bit boring and i was more interested in the members of the student council. Althou' the first episodes were extremely funny and interesting, it's gradually lost those values ... I only watched to see what will be the end of the story. In fact, the base story is really good for my opinion, the protagonists struggling against his fate, and the usual question of who's evil and who's good. But. The other characters are too simple and boring (maybe except Keena Soga) and the end was too ... compressed or to explain in other way, I felt I'm missing something when I finished watching.
Anyway, I recommend this anime, the starting episodes are worth it. Really. (show less)
