Summary: |
In the romantic comedy story, a high school girl named Kotoko finally tells a fellow senior named Naoki that she has loved him from afar since she saw him on their first day of high school. However, Naoki, a haughty "super-ikemen" (handsome male) with smarts and sports talent, rejects her offhand. Fate intervenes when a mild earthquake ruins Kotoko's family house. While the house gets rebuilt, Kotoko and her dad stay at the home of her dad's childhood friend...whose son is Naoki.

I have tried twice to give this anime a fair chance but unfortunately the herione is disgracefully pathetic (has no dignity and can't seem to do anything right) while her male counterpart is the total opposite and excels at everything he does. Any chemistry between them feels illogical and forced. The story and dialogue are predictable. I will give the anime credit for a developed story that spans many years (high school, college, and into their adult lives) instead of a slow plot about a high school crush like most romantic animes.

Wasn't this anime high school based???
Not a bad storyline entertainment was ok but it could have been better
Jumping from scene to scene and the intro of many light characters wasnt that much of a turn on.
Still prefer Kaichou wa Maid-sama

I should have known but this series is meant for the female audience. There's not much more I can say. I didn't like it that much but mainly because I was expecting something else.
The story isn't anything special. It could have turned out better but it stayed pretty normal. It's just about a girl who never gives up.
The conversations between the characters aren't that good. You can almost predict what each character is going to say because they almost never do something unexpected. I was sometimes really irritated by what the heroine said ( read more)

The animation was annoying when I started watching. After a while I got used to it but it still wasn't good. The faces seem deformed when viewed from other angels.
I really didn't like this series at first. It was only because I kept watching that I started to sympathise with the characters. ( show less)

I was forced to drop this series midway since I couldn't stand the lead female character's (Kotoko Aihara) sheer stupidity, lack of intelligence, and foremost her ANNOYANCE. Her annoyance level is out of this world! DO NOT WATCH THIS SHOW
