Actually before I watch Kampfer,I really don't expect much from it but after I watch it,I'm happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. Kampfer is equal parts action, comedy, romance and fanservice. The action sequences feature animation that is fairly good.The comedy is hilarious and managed to make me laugh several times each episode. The romantic scenes are fairly run-of-the-mill,although unique in the respect that, thanks to a misunderstanding, most of the school believes that the female Natsuru is dating the male Natsuru. Alright,first of all,it has excellent art/animation,colours are great I valued art and entertainment a lot as they keep the anime smooth,lively and sustainability.Talking about entertainment,it has decent jokes frequently but lack of jokes that is very hilarious.Dialogues are decent as well but just like my point in entertainment ,limited success.Oh ya,the imitation are very straight forward so it kinda suits those hard marshy and reserved.

Of course,it has interesting story but do not be disappointed that actually the plot development is poor only up till episode 9 then the Really trouble seems to brew i do know there is a season 2 going on so the real plot maybe pushed to season 2.well,i also means that this story lack of intensity,for now.

The characters are somehow unique but seems quite typical as well.For example,cool and strong girl,studious girl,cute girl and energetic girl,i said they are somehow unique because they are a little bit more than meets the eye. It lack of good development of characters as well but it could also be pushed to season 2.They also lack of certain event or quality to make them which let the audience have a strong impression except sakura for me X.X

For me i cannot really accept yuri so.... it is quite difficult for me to ignore it so you may also find it hard to ignore as well... so be prepared ^^
The actions are actually are nice because it actually spiced up the anime,but sadly the bulk of this anime is only about romance.

In conclusion,although it has many flaws but i still give it excellent due to because i valued entertainment and animation more than story,anyway the story and character development could be pushed to season 2.while action and yuri part is just too bad. (show less)

There is a lot of these sort of anime themes about - boy in girls body and struggling with trying to come to terms with what 'girls' are all about. There are a few good reflections then as you get towards the later half og the series, the arse kicking comes out!
2nd from last episode, you want more - ending in a typical cry at the scene "Then what happened!! argh!" but the last episode?
As the characters say of the end of the episode... "What was that about? *&^&* knows..."
As a Christmas episode, I think there was a touch too much 'christmas cheer' in the writers department.

All in all 11/12 for the series... and you do want more... (show less)

Kampfer really is an interesting anime both in the storyline of a boy forced into a world of combat where he has to turn into a GIRL to fight and the personal relationships between Him and the girls around him. It really did keep my interest from beginning to end and kept me entertained with all the incidents that occur randomly around him thanks to his Kampfer abilities and some instigated by the girls around him.

All in all this is an anime to watch if you want something to give you a laugh, if I have any complaints about this anime it would be that it's just to short with only 11 episodes and 1 special episode. (show less)

The harem style anime theme is pretty standard fair so when I watch this style, I tend to judge it based on wither I find the series fun and it can hook me.

Kampfer jumps pretty quickly into the main idea of the story...so quickly that you're left wondering for a few episodes what's going on. But the writers keep the pace moving well and there are some fun twists, humorous moments and overall good comedy.

The animation and story are good but at 11 episodes, I feel it's shorter than it could be (though I have noticed a season 2 in the works).

This anime did hook me and I found myself laughing quite a bit. Well worth the watch and entertainment. (show less)
