Kobato is a touching anime centered around a lovable, adorable, unbelievably cute girl. If watching her through the episodes doesn't want to make you want to hold her or pat her head then you have no heart.

This anime focuses on the human heart, relationships and the power of will embodied in the interesting and unique cast.

I have come to expect great things from CLAMP and they do not disappoint here. Typical of a CLAMP production, there are some crossovers, see if you can spot them!

The touch of supernatural and mystery around several things adds to the intrigue and curiosity of the story and the great sound work and fantastic animations that we know CLAMP for are present in their wonderful colorful glory.

I must say, i loved this anime!! It was simply adorable- so sweet, and each character really grows on you. Slight romance, and just an innocent storyline.
So if you love ecchi and gore and violence, then this is not the anime for you. But if you love a fun, sweet, INNOCENT, heartwarming story, then kobato is for you.
Its pretty emotional as well, not only fun and games, there is a more of a serious backstory. Animation at its best, and by clamp so you'll know its great, if i had to compare, then it would be like cardcaptor sakura sorta anime.
So please enjoy- and haters don't corrupt this jewel of an anime. :D (show less)

I had always remind myself for the past few months to watch this series. But yet, it had been in my waiting list for sometime. Then now, I had finished it, and yes, this one is good.

At first I thought it was gonna be a comedy or slice of life anime, but, OMG its hard to explain. This anime is good, one of the best romance anime, I think. The story is brilliantly order, and the characters are perfect. If you like some romance and comedy story, I would prefer this one, though the ending made me cry hardly, but its a good ending. Well, that's CLAMP work for you.

I like the character Ioryogi (Iorogi). He is hillarious, and always obssesed with deserts.

And some characters from Tsubasa Chronicles and xxHolic showed up in the series. (show less)

Kobato is a very dramatic anime, it had a great story but in some parts it was a little slow. Although some of those parts were slow it was very entertaining and kept appealing to me to watch more and more. There are many hints of romance throughout the anime which is mainly conveyed towards the end. The animation is very similar to the anime "Tsubasa Chronicles" as it is another one of CLAMP's collection so if you liked the animation of Tsubasa Chronicles you will have no problems with this. The anime entertained me until the very end as the end makes you want more but leaves you with a satisfied feeling, so i'd recommend this to fans of drama and romance or people who are fans of CLAMP. Moving on to the review...I would like to give the story an excellent but the only thing that really caught my attention was the ending...One thing about this anime is that they never really tell you anything until the last few episodes...You WILL BE confused when you first start to watch the anime....As you go on, you will keep asking questions and are eager to know what the hell happened...I was like this....So many times I wanted to just skip to the ending but I guess it was all worth it to just slowly wait and watch patiently....

Dialogue...A lot of teasing, sarcasm lol and a lot of "Arigatou-gozaimasu" and "Gomen-nasai"...You'll know what I mean when you watch the show

Animation...Well no complaints here just that at first I didn't realise that it was a Clamp anime...until "Chi" came out haha (yes I am very slow) It's not GREAT and it's not BAD....just good haha

Entertainment...It was ok at the start....got a little boring....got more boring....THEN THE ENDING....that was the only part I like....If you're not a patient person...I would not recommend it to you lol (show less)
