The story seemed to be everage with that alien-thing, but of cause there is more behind the story, than this.
The Dialoges can be very serious and than again so silly that the comedian-parts just dont wonna stop.
You will know what I mean when you watch the 2. episode and give it a try.
I laid on the floor and hold my stomage because it started aching in because of so much laughing. XD
Some characters really went on my nerves. And fumiyaki/Bunmei is such a coward, that you cant think of him as a hero or even a man with nuts.
But you will see, that he gets his chances to show, that he is more than just a chicken.
And even when the anime is not as good as Ergo Proxy (see the analogy to the characters: Maya = Re-L Mayer and Vincent Law = Bunmei) it's quite good and I was sad about the early stopp of that anime.
Or perhaps I would have been glad about a more detailed end, if you know what I mean. (dont wont to spoiler so this has to be enough as hint)
Anyway the anime is good, the openingtheme is nice, the endingtheme not worth to watch it more then one time but I concede that this is a matter of taste.

So just watch the first 3 epis to try it out and when you like it by that moment, watch it till the end^^

Well I don't say this for most of the animes but this one is perfect in so many ways. A lot of times people like the anime but are disappointed by the drawings of the manga-ka; however, this anime has well developed and well drawn characters. Not less or over done.
The story is very capturing, it has been made straight-forward. Easy to understand, not one of those types that you are done with the whole anime and in the end you are like "wha?!"
It has good dialogues not to looooooooooong nor too shrt. Thus it gives 100% entertainment

This my second anime that I've watched that was done by A-1 Pictures, the other being Working!! (which you should check it out). The story Occult Academy is by far the selling point. It has a mystery detective feel to it and as it unfolds its very unpredictable. The dialogue is done very well and the voice actors are good fits to each character in the show. As for the animation and the entertainment value, they are extremely high, especially during the last few episodes. Its a real short anime series which is good so you can watch through it rather quickly also it has a lotta humor within it as well. (show less)

I just finished watching this anime, and it was something else...i just loved the story, the characters, the animation, everythnig in this anime is "Top Notch" ;p It also have an emotional touch in some epi. It truly is a great anime.
The only sad part is the end...i really~~ wanted it to continue on. It's one of the few animes that i wished to continue, but at the same time, the end is allways a "Must Have" to make a Very Good Story!

Anyway i advice this anime to EVERYONE! I don't thing theres a sane person on this Universe that won't like this anime ;) (show less)
